One of the best places to "experience" Florence Tuscany is from the hilltop located south of the Arno River. A replica of Michelangelo's "David" stands at the centre of Piazzale Michelangelo, which overlooks the great city of Florence. Further up he hillside, is the spectacular San Miniato al Monte cathedral.
